From the pages of the Board Room Woodworking Forums comes two incredible furniture builds by two very talented woodworkers.

Hello All,

The Board Room Woodworking Forums has its share of talented woodworkers…………….and then there is Don Kondra and Bryan Cowing.

In the past few weeks, both of these men have posted pictorial step by step tutorials of their respective furniture builds on the pages of the forum.

Don Kondra's recent build, the Ladies Chest of Drawers, is prime example of why Don Kondra continues to be one of Canada's premier woodworkers . Over the years, Don has received numerous awards for his outstanding woodworking designs and as a sought after woodworking author/instructor, finisher and professional photographer, I don't know where he finds the time to post his work on the forum, but he does. Don's work speaks volumes about what a designer/maker really is. You owe it to yourself to check out the website of this multi-talented designer/maker who's design talents are equal to his woodworking skills. Don's work continues to inspire many woodworkers and I'm proud to say that he continues to inspire and teach me through all he does. We are fortunate to have him with us here at the Board Room and I'm a better woodworker and a better man for knowing Don Kondra.

Bryan Cowing is the most prolific woodworker I know. His woodworking talent shows through in all he does and with his recent Queen Four Post Bed Project, I think you'll easily agree that this is one woodworker who knows his craft exceptionally well. Bryan happens to be one of the most helpful and humble men I know, always willing to lend a hand or an encouraging word to further the craft of woodworking. He has become a woodworking mentor to many aspiring woodworkers through his inspiring posts on many woodworking forums……………………….we are fortunate to have him with us.

All the best

Gord
