Rockwell Beaver Model 6200 Table Saw

I'm just looking to see if any fellow members here are familar with this saw. I recently aquired it, took it apart to see why the blade wasn't raising up. I have discovered that I need a part, not 100% sure what to call it to get it up and running.
It is a flat piece of steel, about 2" in length, 1/8 " wide with 12 teeth on it. When you want to raise or lower the saw blade this engages with the worm gear to do so. Saw is in decent shape except for this.
Any ideas? or does anyone who restores these fine old saws have a source for this part I seek?

    Hi Ken,

    Nice score.
Is this the part you're looking for?

    All the best

That's the part I need. Even in the PDF manual that part is not listed on it's own. Go figure.

Has anybody heard from Steve Morris? I'm waiting for him to give me his expert opinion on this.

sorry havent been around much, too busy with work

i cant help you with that saw, dont know much about the rockwell/beavers.

id be looking for a second saw of the same type to be sacrificed for parts, or you could try ford machinery in toronto. call them, dont bother emailing them!! its probably called "sector gear"

Thanks for the reply. Was worried something had happened to you since you haven't been around. I'm trying to get my brother to make me one as we speak. Haven't had much luck finding a donor saw.
